How long do signature stamps last?

The life of a signature stamp depends on the type of stamp you choose. A self-inking signature stamp will last anywhere for 20,000 to 25,000 impressions, which amounts to 2 to 3-years for the average stamp user. You will then need to replace the ink pad, pre-built into the stamp mount. Another popular choice, the pre-inked signature stamp, will last even longer than the self-inking option. It lasts for up to 50,000 impressions before it needs to undergo the re-inking process. A rubber signature stamp uses a separate inking pad with an average shelf life of two years from the manufacture date.
